2025–26 NDIS Price Guide Released: What You Need to Know

Xyston Support Coordination Team 1 July 2025 2 min read

The NDIA has released its annual Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits for 2025–26, effective from 1 July 2025. Here’s a breakdown of what changed.

Information current as of July 2025. Always refer to the NDIA website for the current price guide. This article is general information only — not NDIS, legal, or financial advice.

Why the price guide matters

The NDIS Price Guide sets the maximum amount a provider can charge for each support type. Providers cannot charge more than the price limit, but they can charge less. Understanding the guide helps you check that providers are billing correctly.

Key changes for 2025–26

Disability Support Worker rates: Adjusted in line with minimum wage increases and the Superannuation Guarantee rate (12% from July 2025). This affects the cost of personal care, community access, and in-home supports.

Support Coordination: Rates for Level 2 — Coordination of Supports (07_002) have been updated for 2025–26. Speak with your coordinator to understand the current applicable rate.

Therapy supports: Ongoing harmonisation of rates continues nationally, with some adjustments across states.

How this affects your plan

If your plan budget was set before 1 July 2025, the amount allocated for support worker hours may no longer fully cover the new rates. This is a common trigger for participants needing a plan review.

Your Support Coordinator will monitor this and advise you if your current budget is at risk of being insufficient under the new pricing.

Checking provider invoices

If you’re plan-managed, your plan manager reviews invoices against the price guide automatically. If you’re self-managed, you are responsible for ensuring providers don’t charge above the price limits.

A quick way to check: the NDIA website publishes the full price guide with every support item code and its maximum rate at ndis.gov.au/providers/pricing-arrangements.
